About Sunrise Manor, NV - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Sunrise Manor, Nevada is an unincorporated town found in Clark County. It is a part of Las Vegas Township and is situated at the base of Frenchman Mountain. With over 190,000 residents, Sunrise Manor would be one of the state’s largest cities if were to be incorporated. Education and religion are important to way of life in Sunrise Manor, as the community is home to the Las Vegas Nevada Temple, part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Four high schools also serve the Sunrise Manor area.

There are several interesting places to visit whether you live in or are traveling through the community. Regardless of what type of meal you are in the mood for, there is something in Sunrise Manor, with popular restaurants including Pon Ocha Soup, Sunny’s Chicken and Fish, and Angry Blasian. Specialty shops are abundant in Sunrise Manor at Irish Peddlers Furniture Emporium, Family Deals Thrift Store, and Kohl’s. The Hollywood Community Center also calls Sunrise Manor home.

Weather conditions in town can be extreme, especially during the summer months. During this time of the year, thermostat readings rise quickly into the 90s and 100s. These can be dangerous times for children, the elderly, and residents with chronic medical conditions, but everyone should take necessary precautions. A reliable central air conditioner or other cooling system is needed to stay safe at home throughout the season.

The winter season tends to be more pleasant, although it is short in duration. Temperatures are mild in the 50s, giving residents a break from oppressive heat. Overnight conditions can deteriorate as thermostat readings fall to the 30s, so indoor heating systems are a necessity. While gas or electric furnace systems are options, residents who opted for a heat pump can enjoy both heating and cooling at home as the seasons change.
