About Paradise, NV - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Paradise, Nevada is adjacent to the City of Las Vegas, and this unincorporated community is home to over 223,000 people. Home to the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, which boasts a total enrollment of over 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year, Paradise is relatively unknown because all its zip codes have been assigned the default name of “Las Vegas.” Paradise also contains most of the Las Vegas Strip as well as McCarran International Airport.

There are many things to see and do in Paradise, and many of the most famous Las Vegas attractions are actually found here. The Liberace Mansion is a popular destination for fans of the musician and visitors who want to experience more of Las Vegas’ rich history. The Welcome to Las Vegas Sign is located in the vicinity of Paradise, and Titanic – The Artifact Exhibition is found here. Families with young children even have options for attractions, especially at the Kangamoo Indoor Playground found on East Sunset Road. Other top destinations include the Las Vegas Little Theater, the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra, and the National Atomic Testing Museum, as well as many art exhibits.

It is important that both residents and visitors to Paradise prepare for its seasonal weather conditions. The summers here are dangerously hot, and the season is long. Daytime highs frequently surpass 100 degrees in July and August, and the summer extends well into what is considered autumn in other parts of the country. Central air conditioning or the cooling action of a heat pump is a necessity, and periodic maintenance will ensure these systems work properly.

The autumn and spring seasons are still quite warm to hot in terms of temperature, and the winter is mild. The season is short and features average daily highs in the upper-50s or low-60s. When the sun goes down, temperatures do the same, so it is important to have a home heating system with a high AFUE rating in place.
