About North Las Vegas, NV - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

North Las Vegas is a city found in Clark County, Nevada. Nearly 250,000 people called the community home as of 2017, making it the fourth largest city in the state by population. Often overshadowed by the City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas is a great place to live and work while enjoying the attractions to the south. The economy here is growing, with Bigelow Aerospace calling the city home and plans for a new Amazon fulfilment center to move into the community. The only female correctional facility in the state – Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center – is also found in the city and provides employment opportunities.

There are plenty of things to see and do in North Las Vegas. Despite being removed from the Strip, there are still places for visitors to press their luck and gamble, including the Cannery Casino and Aliante Station Casino and Hotel. The Aliante Nature Discovery Park is a destination for the whole family, as it offers walking paths, a playground, and water features for the hottest days. There are also plenty of delicious restaurants located in North Las Vegas, including Tacos El Gordo, Tokyo Café, and Old School Pizzeria.

North Las Vegas is located in the Mojave Desert, and the weather here is typical of a subtropical hot desert climate. The area is known for its long, hot summers, and average daytime highs in July reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In fact, there are over 130 days per year in which temperatures meet or exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and while humidity tends to be low, residents still need to stay safe with a reliable central air conditioning system.

The winter season in North Las Vegas is dramatically different from summer weather, as temperatures are mild to cool. Despite abundant sunshine throughout the year, average daytime highs in January reach about 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Snowfall is rare, but since average low temperatures fall into the 30s and 40s overnight, residents should be prepared with a gas furnace, heat pump, or hybrid heat system. Preventive maintenance from a qualified HVAC specialist will ensure these systems are ready to heat when needed.
